Our
Approach
Firmly rooted in the belief that genuine progress can only be achieved through inclusive participation and sustainable solutions. SSHJM IDP Zambia, focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities, orphans vulnerable children, women, girls, and vulnerable men, to foster a more equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to live and thrive.

The Programme is guided by a faith-based missionary framework, whereby our work emphasizes core values such as human dignity, social justice, and solidarity, particularly for marginalized and vulnerable communities. The SSHJM Inclusive Development Programme implements holistic, community-led initiatives that directly address the needs of those often overlooked (the furthest behind in society).
By implementing Disability Inclusive Development (DID), we strive for transformative changes that facilitate equal access to opportunities and outcomes for all individuals with disabilities, ensuring their full participation in society.
Overall, promoting inclusion, equity, equality and challenging discrimination is central to our mission, while we honour the uniqueness of each individual. Our commitment encompasses empowering most vulnerable populations and encouraging them to take charge of their futures. Additionally, we recognize our responsibility to care for the environment and its resources, acting as responsible stewards of creation.
